Te Ünga Mai

Ka tohungia te unga mai o nga waka ki Türanganui-ä-Kiwa. Ia tau, ia tau ka whakanui mätou i te taenga mai o aua waka me tënä hoki o Käpene Kuki.

Te Ünga Mai is an annual festival, that is run in Türanganui-ä-Kiwa to celebrate the arrival of the many waka, including that of Captain James Cook.

Te ünga Mai Festival is organised by the Te Ünga Mai Trust and their role is to oversee and guide the organisation of the festival as well as develop and promote the different support systems and programs in place.
